At QFlix, we’re proud to be a Veteran-owned company with a story rooted in perseverance, adaptability, and a commitment to enhancing modern living. Our journey began in 2006 when, while serving in the Air Force, I envisioned building a business to sustain my family post-retirement. The idea behind QFlix—short for “Quick Flicks”—was to offer convenient DVD rentals through kiosks across Southern Arizona. But just as we were gearing up, Redbox emerged, dominating the market, and putting our plans on hold.

After retiring from the Air Force in 2014, I faced the common challenge of finding the right career fit as a veteran. While exploring options, I helped my wife with her business by coordinating a DIRECTV dealer for a project involving apartment complexes. Witnessing inefficiencies in their operations, I took matters into my own hands, learning the trade and eventually managing installations independently. That hands-on experience sparked a realization: I could do this better.

With renewed purpose, I revived QFlix, this time as a DIRECTV dealership. However, as streaming services began reshaping the entertainment industry, we knew we needed to evolve again. Recognizing the growing importance of internet connectivity, we expanded our services to include bundled internet and entertainment solutions tailored for the multi-housing market. We also identified a significant gap in the market: the need to combine existing amenities with emerging technologies into a one-stop shop for all amenity needs. This realization drove us to innovate further, ensuring QFlix could provide comprehensive solutions for apartment communities.

Today, QFlix proudly leads the way in delivering state-of-the-art amenities to apartment communities. From high-speed bulk Wi-Fi and secure parcel lockers to modern access controls and advanced VoIP systems, we are committed to enhancing residents’ lives with innovative technology solutions.
